Jeremy Kittredge
Senior Data & Policy Analyst
Jeremy Kittredge is a data and policy professional with more than a decade of experience advancing policy reform through research, strategic initiatives, and coalition-building.
For nearly nine years, Jeremy served as the Research and Strategic Initiatives Manager at the Justice Policy Institute (JPI), where he worked on the organization’s research and policy portfolio. At JPI, he led major projects on long prison terms, parole and release mechanisms, community investment, and reentry.
His work highlighted the generational impact of lengthy sentences, including the disproportionate burden on Black communities and the rise of aging populations in prison. Jeremy also played a central role in advancing “second look” reforms in Washington, D.C. and supported making parole processes in Maryland and D.C. fairer and more transparent.
In addition to policy reform, Jeremy strengthened JPI’s use of data analytics and visualization by integrating interactive dashboards and visual storytelling into the organization’s reports, making complex datasets accessible to policymakers, advocates, and the public.
Earlier in his career, Jeremy worked with the International Association of Chiefs of Police to develop training modules that guided law enforcement officers in conducting non-coercive interviews with young people. At the American Correctional Association, he managed national conferences and coordinated training programs for practitioners across the corrections field. Most recently, at the CSG Justice Center, he contributed to Justice Counts, a national initiative to improve data collection and analysis across the criminal legal system.
Jeremy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Curry College and a Master of Science degree in Criminology from American University.
